#17: What You Need to Know About Personal Safety with Tiffany Armstrong
Show Notes

“You are worth saving.” — Tiffany Armstrong

There is nothing more valuable than your life, and Tiffany has made it her mission to help you protect that. After surviving abusive relationships and being attacked in a home, Tiffany realized her people-pleasing tendencies were failing her. Through lots of work and personal growth, she’s become an expert on self-defense (with a 2nd degree black belt!) and is sharing her knowledge with the world to empower individuals everywhere to feel safe and set healthy boundaries in any scenario.

In this interview we cover:

  • What attackers look for when picking a victim or home to burglarize, and how to deter them
  • Why traditional martial arts may not equip you for an emergency, AND how it’s simpler to defend yourself than you think
  • How to be aware without becoming paranoid
  • What to do if you find yourself in a potentially dangerous scenario or an encounter that makes you uncomfortable
  • How to pull yourself out of the victim mindset after experiencing trauma

Tiffany posts a ton of practical, free content on her social media channels — Facebook: @ArmstrongSelfDefense, Instagram: @tiffany_d_armstrong; and her website with online courses and additional resources will be up in the near future.
